Position Summary

Reporting to the Vice President, People & Culture, the Talent Acquisition Specialist will be a key contributor to the overall success of the company in an extraordinary period of rapid growth. You will take ownership in identifying and interviewing exceptional talent for a Firm that truly cares about its people and offers a corporate culture that is one of kind. This position also plays a key role in building a strong employer brand for our company to ensure we attract, hire and retain the most qualified employees.

Major Responsibilities

  • Facilitating full-cycle recruitment process for roles at all levels (entry-level to senior): this includes reviewing job descriptions/postings, shortlisting resumes, conducting phone screens, scheduling and participating in interviews, performing reference and background checks, and negotiating terms of employment with potential candidates.
  • Proactively sourcing candidates for our niche and unique industry.
  • Building a pipeline of strong, diverse candidates across various technical and non-technical roles in multiple departments and business units.
  • Collaboratively partnering with our Leaders at the strategic and tactical levels for talent acquisition matters.
  • Building our employer brand and social media presence by actively monitoring our Glassdoor and Indeed pages.
  • Taking a lead role in recruitment-related projects and initiatives, including defining process improvements, sharing interviewing techniques, and coaching hiring leads in best practices.


What You Will Bring to the Team

  • You have a natural ability to communicate with others! You care about building genuine relationships, you find it easy to make a phone call or dive into a crowd and strike up a meaningful conversation with a potential team member—but can equally step up when you have to write a thoughtful rejection email.
  • 3+ years of experience in a full-cycle recruitment role, hiring teams at scale with at least 2 years of in-house experience, preferably in the Financial Services sector. Experience in the Bankruptcy and Insolvency sector would be considered an asset.
  • You can think on your feet and be adaptable—you don't mind switching gears if plans suddenly change.
  • You are hyper-organized and almost never let the little things slip by you and strive for great data in your ATS.
  • You can do your best work when you're given some autonomy—you enjoy being given a challenge and finding your own ways to solve it.
  • You go to bat for your teammates and have never said, "that's not my job" when asked for help by others.
  • You are driven to provide nothing less than an amazing candidate experience—you have proven this in past roles by going above and beyond to ensure they leave happy, regardless of the final outcome.
