Position Summary

We are looking for a Data Entry Clerk to join our team. This role offers the flexibility to work remotely. In this role, you will assist our team by updating and maintaining information in our databases and provide administrative support as needed. As the ideal candidate, you will have exceptional attention to detail and be self-motivated to keep yourself focused on assigned tasks.

Major Responsibilities
  • Preparing legal documentation for in person or electronic signature.
  • Validating all proper supporting information and documentation to ensure all statutory requirements are met and to support file administration (including, but not limited to income and expense calculation and validation, verifying identification, verifying supporting documentation for all assets, completing and reviewing insolvency searches, vehicle value searches, personal property registry searches and real property searches and credit bureau review).
  • Use of insolvency software to create legal documents and document files.
  • Liaising with front line managers and the administration team, to determine facts necessary for proper document creation and administration.
  • Using Microsoft Dynamics CRM to extract file details and information and manage work- flow and document files.
  • Identify gaps in compliance with internal policies.
  • Organizing file documents in accordance with our naming protocols.
  • Uploading documents to our file storage system.
  • Understanding relevant legal exemption requirements of multiple provincial jurisdictions.
  • Electronic filing of statutory documents.
  • Maintaining client confidence and protecting operations by keeping information confidential.
  • Other tasks may be assigned, as necessary.

Education
 
  • At least one year post high school education or data entry experience.  

Qualifications/Experience
 
  • Experienced performing data entry with a proven high level of accuracy
  • Minimum typing speed of 70 wmp with a 93% accuracy rate
  • Extremely detailed oriented
  • Exceptional Organizational and prioritization skills
  • Proficient technical skills and familiarity with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word); able to learn computer software quickly
  • Experience with Microsoft Dynamics CRM would be an asset
  • Able to work independently and efficiently
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills to convey information to others
  • Good interpersonal skills to speak and deal effectively with other staff members

Salary Range

Salary range is $34,000 - $36000.
