Position Summary
The Operations Specialist will support the centralized operations function across the organization with a particular focus on the Client Management Centre (CMC). We are looking for someone who wants to make an impact on people's lives and work with a team of people who share that same passion. We are seeking a highly motivated Operations Specialist who will be responsible for streamlining processes, improving efficiency, and supporting the operational best practices driving overall business growth. This role requires a keen understanding of business operations, strong analytical abilities, and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
Responsibilities
Business as Usual (BAU) process:
Identify and implement process improvements to enhance operational efficiency.
Analyse workflows and recommend changes to streamline operations.
Performance and maintenance of specific tasks that are necessary for the support of CMC teams. Examples include report generation and upload to list-based systems, Ascend custom form edits, DocuSign template maintenance, etc.
Contribution to the continual improvement of the CMC with updating and execution of changes identified as BAU approved improvements.
Project Management:
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to plan and support documentation needs of projects.
Gather relevant requirements for strategic projects and BAU items.
Data Analysis:
Work with our data team to collect, analyse, and interpret data to support decision-making.
Prepare reports and presentations on operational performance.
Compliance:
Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and industry standards.
Take ownership for CMC compliance with internal systems and processes.
Training and Development:
Collaborate with our Talent Development Team and other leaders to train CMC teams on operational processes and procedures.
Foster a culture of continuous improvement and learning.
Cross-Functional Collaboration:
Work closely with departments such as IT application, Data, Marketing, and Client Management Centre to coordinate activities and achieve organizational goals.

Familiarity with project management methodologies and tools.

Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in business, operations management, or a related field.
Proven experience in operations, project management, or a relevant field.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
Familiarity with relevant tools and software for data analysis and project management.
