Position Summary
We are currently seeking a motivated Full-time Team Lead for our Data Entry/Resolution blended team. The primary responsibility of the Team Lead is to motivate and coach the team in achieving targets while creating efficiencies and keeping business goals in mind.
This position will work closely with the senior manager of Centralized services and other various Subject Matter Experts (DSA’s, DSM’s, CAT, RT TL and FIT TL) within the firm. As a natural leader, this role will encourage an engaging environment of collaboration and professional development.
Standard hours of work are subject to change and are based on the candidate's flexibility which will include their location and province. The standard working day is 8.5 hours with one hour (unpaid) for lunch. At times of high volume, it is expected that additional work hours will be required.
Responsibilities
· Maintaining frequent visibility and providing leadership to each team member to ensure our best practices are occurring.
· Supporting implementation of new initiatives, programs and operations procedures.
· Building, managing and developing an effective and high performing team.
· Answering questions from team and helping to solve problems while overseeing work to ensure quality and conformity.
· Monitor file input and resolution dashboards for productivity and to assign team accordingly based on file volumes
· Consistent communication with teams when updates or changes occur within the process
· Review of input and resolution errors
· Maintain our Service Level Agreement (SLA) for accuracy & delivery time.
· Recruitment, onboarding & coordinating training
· Training new processes & re-fresher training sessions
· Performing regular 1:1 check in with team members and conducting annual performance and compensation reviews with the use of Lattice.
· Schedule and host regular team meetings.
· Support team with input and resolution inquiries
· Approving time off requests and managing and organizing shift coverage and capacity requirements using Shifts and Dayforce
· Assist maintaining the FIT & Reso training materials working closely with the Talent & Development team
· Share information with manager on file related, training and DSM feedback,
· Identify gaps in compliance with internal policies.
· Additional hours may be required at the end of the month or during volume peaks
· Other tasks may be assigned, as necessary. Your duties may be expanded depending on your workload and this will be reviewed with you on a periodic basis.
Qualifications
· Post-secondary education or related equivalent experience.
· High computer literacy includes the ability to learn new programs.
· Great interpersonal and relationship building skills that facilitate positive outcomes and business promotional efforts.
· Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to prioritize and manage workload demands and multiple tasks as required.
· Ability to set and meet targets and service levels of the team.
· Strong organizational, analytical, and critical thinking skills.
· Highly motivated with a desire to be successful and an innate desire to motivate others in the achievement of targets
· Effective time management and multi-tasking skills.
· A self-starter who can prioritize with the flexibility to manage workload demands and multiple tasks as required
· Good oral and written communication skills to communicate effectively with colleagues and management
· Computer literacy includes the ability to learn new programs and previous experience using Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word)
· Insolvency knowledge is an asset
