Position Summary
Reporting directly to the Vice President, Client Management Centre, the Senior Analyst, Operations Performance supports operational excellence through accurate data, meaningful performance insights, and consistent KPI reporting across the Client Management Centre (CMC).
The Client Management Centre serves as the firm’s back-office operations function, responsible for executing and supporting core processes that ensure efficient file progression, data integrity, and achievement of operational and financial outcomes.
This role works closely with both CMC leaders and the Data team to ensure operational reporting is accurate, actionable, and aligned to business needs. The Senior Analyst plays a key role in defining reporting requirements, validating outputs, analyzing performance, identifying trends and data issues, and supporting leaders in understanding performance drivers.
In practical terms, this role:
Translates operational needs into clear reporting and dashboard requirements
Partners with the Data team to support the development of dashboards and reporting
Validates data outputs to ensure accuracy and alignment with business logic
Analyzes operational data to identify trends, gaps, and variances
Supports root cause analysis of operational and performance challenges
Key Responsibilities
Reporting Requirements & Dashboard Enablement
Partner with CMC leaders to understand operational reporting needs and define clear requirements.
Translate business needs into structured specifications for the Data team.
Collaborate with the Data team to support the development and enhancement of dashboards and reports.
Validate reporting outputs to ensure accuracy, completeness, and alignment with defined KPIs.
Performance Analysis & Insights
Analyze operational performance to identify trends, variances, and potential areas of concern.
Investigate drivers of performance outcomes across timeliness, capacity, quality, and financial metrics.
Provide clear, structured insights to support decision-making by CMC leaders.
Data Integrity & Issue Investigation
Identify data inconsistencies, gaps, and anomalies in reporting and underlying systems.
Conduct root cause analysis to determine whether issues stem from process, system, or data entry factors.
Partner with the Data team and CMC stakeholders to support resolution and improve data accuracy.
Cross-Functional Support & Enablement
Act as a key liaison between CMC and the Data team to ensure shared understanding of requirements and priorities.
Support alignment on KPI definitions, data logic, and reporting outputs.
Enable CMC leaders to effectively interpret and use reporting in day-to-day performance management.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Analytics, Operations, or related field.
3–5 years of experience in business analysis, operations analytics, or performance reporting.
Experience building and maintaining dashboards (Power BI or similar).
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
Experience working with data teams and translating business requirements into reporting needs.
Ability to communicate insights clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Experience in professional services, financial services, insolvency or a regulated environment is considered an asset.
