Reporting into the Director, Brand Marketing and Communications, the Senior Marketing Manager, Content & Communications, will know what it takes to meet the content needs of a brand’s target audience and has had success in building out strategic omnichannel content plans, ensuring impact, cohesiveness and consistency.
You will directly assist in taking our brand interactions to the next level, leveraging your creativity and attention to data and insights in the development of high-performing content with a ‘create once, publish everywhere’ philosophy across all channels, inclusive of social, web, public relations, and customer communications, while driving meaningful business growth.
Development of a unified, content strategic road map that includes the building out of our full-funnel content journeys for our priority topics and the creation of content strategies around our key content themes-considering the impact at every stage in the customer journey. Ensure alignment with our brand strategy, marketing goals and business objectives.
Define, develop and maintain personas, tailoring messages to the needs of our audience by segment and persona. Develop a strong understanding of the Farber consumer offering,
creating unique content and messaging working with internal writers and marketers to push creative boundaries, providing deep value to our audience and delivering to KPI’s.
Develop and manage our enterprise-wide social media strategy for owned social channels, driving measurable growth and user engagement. Oversee content creation and curation, issues management, community engagement, and data and analytics for organic social media efforts.
Orchestrate all aspects of our public-facing positioning and messaging, expanding our presence in existing markets, penetrating new markets and increasing brand visibility and thought leadership. You understand how to create and amplify newsworthy stories, manage outbound engagements and relations and tell great stories, promoting the Farber difference, creating buzz and driving coverage.
Assess opportunities for the development of our customer marketing strategy, as it relates to audience segmentation, customer engagement & customer journey mapping that is a category differentiator.

Lead, track and measure your initiatives to improve predictions, maximize return on investment and ensure the collection of valuable insights that drive continuous improvement.
In this newly created role, we’re looking for a passionate, seasoned, content and communication specialist with a 10+ years experience and a track record of quantifiable success, who embraces the challenge of brand transformation and has a desire for market disruption driven from consumer insights.
The ideal individual gets excited mining for these insights from analytics, SEO, usability testing, market research, and competitive analysis in order to inform content and communications strategy development. They are also able to drive attitudinal and behavioural change by weaving these insights into highly targeted content across multiple channels and embracing collaboration to ensure success.
You are an enthusiastic marketer who is knowledgeable on the evolving consumer and cultural media trends, industry trends and related innovation in content, media and customer marketing tracking, analytics and research.
You have proven experience in identifying target audiences and creatively devising and leading cross channel marketing campaigns that engage, educate and motivate. You naturally gravitate to test and learn new ideas, messaging and tactics to increase KPIs.
You have great initiative, persistence and drive to proactively foster teamwork and improve collaboration, ensuring adoption and engagement along the journey.
An exceptional communicator, both written and oral, confidently and cohesively presenting to internal audiences and building relationships at all levels of management.
A self-starter with a highly adaptive demeanor who can successfully work in a virtual environment with the ability to juggle multiple projects & deadlines gracefully, and translate a high volume of complex information into content plans for our various audiences, adapting quickly to feedback, delays, new information, or change in scope.
A brand champion that takes great pride ensuring that the consumer/customer and brand strategy is our driving force in meeting our objectives.
You have an analytical mindset, that maps user journeys/experiences to unpack customers’ content needs, while gaining a deep understanding of audience segments that will advise activation strategies and guide highly targeted messaging.
A strategic thinker that’s metric driven with a curious and creative mindset that embraces comprehensive content and competitive audits to help inform strategic recommendations, pulling insights from website analytics and CRM metrics to help understand how content can be further optimized.
It is a bonus, if you have experience working in the consumer finance category with insights into the challenges Canadians face with financial literacy and financial wellness.
