Position Summary
The Process Owner is responsible for understanding, mapping, improving, and governing core operational processes across the firm. They act as the day-to-day curator of how workflows, ensuring processes are efficient, measurable, well-documented, and continuously improved.
Key Responsibilities
Process Discovery & Mapping
- Document current-state workflows using BPMN, swim lanes, flow diagrams, or similar notations.
- Identify pain points, inefficiencies, risks, and opportunities for improvement.
- Run workshops, interviews, and observations to elicit business needs.
- Translate findings into requirements, user stories, acceptance criteria, and success measures.
- Support idea validation and the intake → assessment → planning → execution → review lifecycle.
- Contribute to impact analysis, prioritization scoring, and business cases.
- Maintain updated SOPs, playbooks, and process maps.
- Track performance metrics such as cycle time, error rates, and throughput.
- Collaborate with Operations, IT Apps, PMO, and SMEs to align on process improvements.
- Participate in stand-ups, planning reviews, and retrospectives.
- 2–4 years in Business Analysis, Operations, or Continuous Improvement.
- Process mapping and requirements elicitation.
- Basic data analysis (Excel/BI tools).
- Strong communication and facilitation.
- Lean Six Sigma exposure.
- Interest in Product Ownership concepts.
