Position Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated Junior Associate, Collections, to join our Collections Representation Department. Tax is a specialized and intellectually demanding field. Successful candidates possess strong critical thinking skills, along with the professionalism and practicality required to provide exceptional client service. 

Major Responsibilities

  • Reviewing and analyzing financial information for individuals and corporations 
  • Developing and then selecting the best option to deal with assessed CRA debts and obligations
  • Negotiating favourable payment arrangements with the CRA on behalf of clients
  • Following up proactively and working effectively with CRA Officials and clients
  • Other related duties may be assigned as required

Qualifications

  • College diploma or university degree in business or a related field is preferred
  • Previous experience in a tax related industry is an asset
  • Excellent interpersonal skills to deal with team members, staff, and clients
  • A team player who can also work independently and take ownership of their workload
  • Strong time management, organizational, and multi-tasking skills
  • Highly motivated with a desire to be successful and outstanding professional demeanor
  • Superior attention to detail and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
  • A team player who can also work independently and take ownership of their workload
  • Strong analytical skills to comprehend, analyze, and interpret financial information
