Position Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated Law Office Manager to play a critical role in a rapidly growing tax boutique. We pride ourselves on a friendly, highly collaborative and egalitarian culture. Successful applicants will combine a keen interest in legal technology and process with strong leadership and communication skills.

The nature of this position will require daily attendance at our office.

Major Responsibilities 

Your main responsibilities are listed below: 

  • Manage and train legal assistants and clerks
  • Develop and maintain processes for electronic and physical filing and inbound and outbound correspondence
  • Liaise on behalf of the law firm with our facilities, finance and IT departments
  • Maintain trust, disbursement and other legal bookkeeping records
  • Prepare and draft correspondence and litigation and corporate documents
  • Oversee firm tickler, conflict check and other internal processes
  • Ensure firm databases are properly updated and maintained

  • 5+ years working in a law firm setting
  • Strong work ethic

  • Superior interpersonal skills with analytical problem-solving abilities

  • Strong prioritization, organization and multi-tasking skills

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
